Winning Poker Tournaments One Hand at a Time Volume I
by Eric Lynch, Jon Turner, Jon Van Fleet

A WPT MAGAZINE ESSENTIAL READ TITLE

The books will focus on No-Limit tournament strategy and will be discussed over several books.

The three authors are Eric Lynch, Jon Turner and Jon Van Fleet. Together the three have been to 1,000 final tables and have well over 200 wins.

Lynch plays online and in live tournaments. Over the past two years, he has cashed out seven times at the World Series of Poker. He has had success in live play and in 2006 he took home $494,000 in the Main Event. He has had huge success online as well and has cashed out for more than $1 million.

He has also already tried his hand at book writing. He helped Matthew Hilger write No-Limit Hold'em Tournament Strategy: Expert Strategies for Live and Online Play. It has not been released as of yet.

Van Fleet is also a star player online. He was ranked by InternetPokerRankings one of the top ten internet players. He has cashed out a little more than Lynch online, at almost $2 million.

Turner is also known throughout the online world. His online name is PearlJammer and is usually ranked in the top ten as well. He also has almost $2 million in cash outs.

Review from the PokerFives.com website

This isnt a book for beginning players. If youre a donator in the $1 to $10 MTTs on the various sites, much of whats written in this book will only serve as a diversion from straightforward tactics, which are often correct for micro buy-ins. But if you, like thousands of other Player, are struggling to be successful in the mid-stakes and up, this is easily the best book available to help you improve, without question.

I would expect this to remain true for approximately the next seven months until Volume 2 of Winning Poker Tournaments comes out, where Rizen, Apestyles and PearlJammer provide instruction about end-stage and Final Table play.
