The Soccerdata Form Guide for 2007/08 provides a detailed statistical view of the new English Premiership and Football League season, a view that will not be found in conventional annuals such as the Sky Sports (ex-Rothmans) Yearbook.

The first section of the book lists every post-war League meeting between the clubs that will meet in 2006/07. For example, to view matches between Stoke City and Plymouth Argyle, turn to the 'Stoke City' page and read down the column headed 'Plymouth'.

Other details include the division in which the game was played and the home club's finishing position in the League that season. Highlights of the meetings are identified: for example, Port Vale have never beaten Nottingham Forest at home in 9 attempts.

The next section looks at sequences of matches won, drawn and lost for the 92 clubs in the season just completed, 2005/06. The results of each game are included. This analysis is then extended to examine each club's record sequences of games won, drawn, lost, and 'not won', not drawn' and 'not lost' over the last twenty seasons. The sequences are given for all meetings and for home and away games separately.
